It's excellent for drivers who want a truck that works during the week and plays even harder over the weekend. What's New for the 2024 Jeep® Gladiator
Jeep® has given the Gladiator a mild refresh for the 2024 model year, dropping the diesel engine option but adding new wheel designs, revised styling for the grille and front fascia, and a newly standard 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen. The Gladiator also adds Mojave X and Rubicon X variants, expanding these tiers with steel bumpers, Nappa leather-upholstered 12-way power front seats, and an integrated off-road camera.
Performance
The Jeep Gladiator is propelled by a 3.6-liter Pentastar® V-6 engine with 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. A standard Command-Trac® 4WD System and low-range transfer case ensure confident handling and traction in various conditions. A six-speed manual transmission is standard for Hillsborough shoppers who want a more hands-on experience. If you prefer to let the vehicle hand gear changes, you can select the quick-shifting 8-speed automatic transmission.
When properly equipped, the Jeep Gladiator leads its class with a maximum 4x4 towing and payload ratings of 7,700 and 1,725 pounds, respectively.
Jeep® Gladiator Rubicon and Mojave
While all Jeep Gladiator models excel beyond the asphalt, the Rubicon and Mojave variants take that capability to the next level. The "Trail Rated" Gladiator Rubicon is well-suited to roaming rough and rocky terrain thanks to equipment like FOX shocks, 33-inch all-terrain tires, Tru-Lok® front and rear differentials, a Rock-Trac® Heavy-Duty 4WD system, rock rails, and skid plates. The Gladiator Mojave is the Jeep brand's first-ever "Desert Rated" model. Built for cresting dunes and spraying sand, it features FOX front hydraulic jounce bumpers, a 1-inch front suspension lift, and a transfer case designed for higher-speed 4WD performance.
Design and Interior
The Jeep Gladiator is a midsize pickup with a five-seat crew cab and a 5.0-foot truck bed. The all-steel cargo box provides versatile utility with a three-position tailgate, integrated tied-downs, and available add-ons like weatherproof power outlets, a roll-up tonneau cover, and the Jeep Trail Rail™ Cargo Management System. The Gladiator is also the only pickup that offers a true open-air driving experience, thanks to its fold-down windshield, removable doors, and a zipperless Sunrider soft-top or Freedom hardtop. Available cabin upgrades include:
- Heated, power-adjustable front seats
- Heated steering wheel
- Leather upholstery
- Dual-zone automatic climate control
- Alpine premium sound system
